Steps to becoming a photographer:

• Interning for an agency
• Taking risks
• Take photos in the field you're most interested in
• Make sure you know your lighting
• Shoot as much as possible

Tips for wildlife photography:

• Try and create eye contact with the animal
• Keep a steady hand
• Include the natural background
• Shoot wide
• Select a fast shutter speed
• Be patient with the animals

Creating dramatic photos w/o taking light away:

• Create focal points with the light
• Try and create depth and dimension with light/dark 
• Find the shadows in the picture
• Take a natural frame
