"What is a Prime Lens? And Why You Should Use It"
a prime lens is basically a lens with a fixed focal length
it cannot zoom
since its focal length is fixed, it uses a wider aperture
a wider aperture allows more light to flow in
allows a great range of focal distance
you are able to work at faster shutter speeds
it is made out of fewer internal parts
it solves camera shake issues
framing can help create better pictures
the results can come with crisp and sharper images
a prime lens creates a better depth of field control
the frame is always fixed and you have to manually find the objects you want in the frame
a basic prime lens is not drastically expensive
