CAREERS IN PHOTOGRAPHY

Architectual Photography

There are many careers in photograhy, but the career I think deserves recognition is Architectual photography. Architectual photography is one of the more unique careers because it comes with very specific challenges. This type of career involves photographers to capture images of very large structures which can lead to many technical difficulties and just the point of view can make an image very complex. Determining the place to capture is also a big factor, as said above, architectual photography involves large structures such as buildings, a landmark, or a residence. When trying to take the very best photos, the interior and the exterior of the area is considered, as an architect is someone who is involved with the designing and the outlook of the whole area. Being a photographer in this type of career also has you trying to sell the property. So taking the absolute best picture must be an important factor as it has to appeal to the audience. Something similar to architectual photography is interior and residential photographers. They are both very similar as an interior photographer captures the inside of the structure but is closely related to homeowners, art directors, stylists, and editors. Most of their work can be found in home magazines that showcase the inside of houses for people to inspire on. Residential photographers also capture the interior but also the exterior and mostly on houses, cluing why they are called residential photographers. Being in this type of field can broaden the idea of more careers in photography, but mastering this one takes time and practice.

CREATIVE SHOOTING

There are different tools on making a creative picture. Things like the camera's shutter speed, background and abstract effect are all elements into shooting a creative picture. The camera's shutter speed helps convey motion, freeze action, and isolate subjects. It can also help the backgrounnd whether it needs more light or not. The faster the shutter speed, the more still the picture would be captured. The slower the shutter speed, the more slower it will take to capture one element. There are some hard elements to achieve to shoot a creative picture. Like creating a picture in a moving vehicle OR shooting a picture of a moving vehicle is kind of difficult to achieve. The shutter speed will depend on the speed of the vehicle. Panning is part of the shutter speed catagory and one technique is called panning. Panning is when a moving object is caught clearly while the background is blurred out. Doing this takes lots of practice and requires you to follow the moving object steadily.
